The hotel is all under one roof.
Although the room was spacious, it felt quite dated and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom didn't meet my expectations, with amenities that were lacking. The evening bar menu had limited options, which left us disappointed.

Our stay was better than I had imagined, I would recommend Cradle Mountain Chateau to any and everyone. We have decided to come back in 6 months time and experience summer in the Chateau, we have been told this is the best time of the year. I say it would take alot to beat July at Cradle Mountain, but we will just have to find out for ourselves.

We got stuck in the hotel for a full day because of a heavy snowfall, but there was still plenty to do for the kids in both outdoors and indoors activities.

The cozy lodge offered a cute atmosphere with lovely lounge areas. It was perfectly situated just a short drive from fine spots like Cradle Mountain and Pencil Pine Falls.

We loved the snowy nature views from our window, having a little balcony, where you could admire views in privacy of our room, friendly staff, nice food and the unique experience of sipping exotic cocktails on the snow!
The only downfall was the old spa that didn't want to make bubbles! It just was too weak for some reason and no matter what setting I was choosing it did not change the strength of the jets.

Very impressed with standard queen room with views into the mountain bush lands. Perfect and tasty breakfast for the lounge food instead for all tastes. Excellent staff at the manager on duty during stay...

The location was excellent, we completed a beer tasting session with a staff member called Jamie he was excellent very entertaining and it was something different to do.
Only dissapointnent I had was we were put in the wrong room to start with. I then had to find my reciept to proove the room I had booked was different and we had to move all our things.

The breakfast was delicious and tasty and fairly priced with soft drinks, the lounge food and also barista made coffee. Really friendly staff members from the cleaning staff to manager's and kept the hotel spotlessly clean. The location in a nice quiet area was particularly good and unbeatable. The property was a super close walk to Cradle Mountain downtown.

It was a really beautiful location, but the dinner buffet for $58 was definetly an absolute rip-off, the food was gloriously average at best. There was no restocking of coffee and tea, so we had to sneak around for additional cups. Such a shame they overlooked my perfect taste with no complimentary upgrade upon my arrival. How disappointing.

We loved the professional friendly and personal service right from the front desk through to the lovely staff in dining and also the room servicing staff .. even the maintenance staff were friendly ..... it was great to feel special at all levels.
The mattress was a little too firm, a sheepskin or foam top would resolve that.

The Standard Queen Room was super cozy, especially enjoying the lovely log fire in the sitting area. I made the most of the relaxing spa and the peaceful garden space to unwind after my travels. Although the pricing is a bit on the higher side, the stay was worth it for the comfort and experience! 😊

We joined the spotlight tour and it was finished at 8pm. However, the restaurant was closed at 8pm. The hotel staff help us to arrange the restaurant to extend the business hours to 9pm to facilitate us to have dinner after the sportlight tour. Much appreciated.
